Wottamalla - The Royal National Park

Wottamalla is located in The Royal National Park about 30 minutes away from Sydney's CBD.

Wottamalla is popular for its great beach and scenic lagoon and its waterfall that flows al year around except summer...

At Wottamalla, all the family can enjoy their time as activities include swimming, surfing, snorkelling (I saw a stingray the other day in the beach), bushwalking and many more...

I took the pictures below last weekend (6 January 2007) and represent a bit of Wottamalla’s great natural environment!

AWESOME pictures, thanks for posting!

I've been there once, snorkelled in both the bay and the lagoon. I think I had a bad day for snorkelling in the bay, because my friend also told me about the big rays which I didn't see. In the lagoon, there are many small shrimp on one side -- very cute.

There's also a big cliff that kids like to jump off of into the water there. That's a bit too high for my likings, but kids have no fear!!!

Feel free to post more pictures: I really enjoyed these!
